Analysis on influence and sensitivity of China’s urban rail transit industry

Urban rail transit is the basic urban infrastructure investment project, which plays leading role in the development of other industries. Based on the analysis of domestic and international research status, the paper establishes input-output tables for China’s urban rail transit respectively according to China’s input-output tables of 2002, 2007 and 2012. Based on input-output analysis of urban rail transit, we study the influence and sensitivity of China’s urban rail transit industry and explore factors influencing urban rail transit industry from the perspective of external system. According to the comparison between the influence and sensitivity of urban rail transit industry, sensitivity of this industry is relatively low, showing that its driving effect on China’s economic development is greater than the promoting function of economic development on it.
