Coordinated development of railway tourism and passenger transport: a synergy degree model based study

The coordinated development between railway tourism and railway passenger transport is a significant aspect of improving the overall benefit of the railway. Based on the synergy degree model of composite system, this thesis researches on the order parameter index system of the two subsystems: railway tourism and railway passenger transport, constructs the synergy evaluation model of railway tourism and railway passenger transport, and makes a comprehensive evaluation of the railway tourism and passenger transport system capacity of China National Railway Group Co., Ltd during the period from 2010 to 2020. The results show that the orderliness of the railway tourism subsystem and railway passenger transport subsystem basically increases first and then decreases. The composite system of railway tourism and railway passenger transport is at the level of incoordination or mild coordination, and the coordination level is unstable. From the perspective of China's railway tourism business, this research proposes relevant policy suggestions on promoting the coordinated development of railway tourism and railway passenger transport from the aspects of railway tourism management system, railway tourism product development and railway tourism service platform, etc.
