Abstract:

The customized real-time bus is a type of bus mode that does not have a fixed operation line and stops at a specific place to pick up and drop off passengers according to the travel needs of passengers. The custom-ized bus with real-time response can better meet the random and diversified travel needs of residents in the peripheral areas of the city. Reasonable real-time route generation is the premise of the customized bus op-eration, which needs to meet the respective requirements of passengers and bus enterprises. In this paper, the generation of customized bus routes is divided into two stages: the initial route stage takes the minimi-zation of passenger travel cost and vehicle running cost as the objective function, and the real-time route stage adds the minimization of penalty cost of vehicle arriving later than the time window and the penalty cost of vehicle not serving passengers as the objective function. The ratio of the maximum distance traveled by a demand-responsive custom bus to the initial route is used as the line control coefficient, and an exam-ple is given to verify that when the customized bus serves the peripheral areas of the city, the line control coefficient value of 1.2 can make the target value of the road network at a better level.
