Correlation analysis between logistics industry and regional economic development considering the impact of transportation infrastructure

The development level of transportation infrastructure profoundly affects the synergistic relationship between the logistics industry and regional economy. Therefore, a correlation analysis between the logistics industry and regional economic development considering the impact of transportation infrastructure should be conducted. Firstly, evaluate its development level through road network density, multimodal transport capacity, and traffic accessibility index. Secondly, using negative exponential functions, radiation radius models, and other methods to quantify the impact mechanism of transportation infrastructure on the logistics industry. Finally, based on the gravity model and the theory of urban primacy, analyze the spatial correlation characteristics between the logistics industry and regional economic development. The test results show that the grey correlation degree between the logistics industry and the secondary and tertiary industries measured by the method in this article remains stable at 90% -95%, and the coordination degree of the transportation logistics economic system reaches 0.85-0.94.
