Quantitative evaluation of the coordination degree between transportation infrastructure construction and economic development

R. Qi
Pages: 71-84

Abstract:

Based on the theory of economic growth, this article systematically explores the impact mechanism of transportation infrastructure on regional economic growth, and studies the comprehensive evaluation model of the coordination between infrastructure and economic development. Starting from the three core elements of population, capital, and technology, this article reveals that transportation infrastructure affects economic growth through population mobility, population mobility, and technological innovation paths. Based on this, an evaluation system for economic development level is constructed, and the coordination degree model is used to quantify the degree of synergy between infrastructure and economic development, providing a quantitative tool for evaluating the coordination between transportation infrastructure and regional economy. The experimental results indicate that this method provides effective assistance in achieving sustainable collaborative development between the two.
