Abstract:

To reveal the quantitative relationship between parameters of smart transportation technology and indicators of regional green economic growth, a study on the impact of smart transportation on regional green economic growth was conducted. First, this research focuses on the influence mechanisms of smart transportation on regional green economic growth. Based on the principles of scientific rigor, typicality, and comprehensiveness, a multidimensional indicator system was constructed, covering six core dimensions, including labor quality and transportation network density. Second, data cleaning was performed using a hybrid DBSCAN-LSTM algorithm, and the level of green economic growth was quantified using a super-efficiency SBM model. Finally, a dynamic panel regression model was constructed, incorporating the two-step system GMM method to control for endogeneity issues. An econometric model system including regional and time fixed effects was established to reveal the transmission mechanisms through which smart transportation influences green development via pathways such as transportation efficiency and energy intensity. Experimental results show that the implementation of smart transportation system has stabilized the proportion of logistics costs to GDP between 41% and 44%, while the coupling coordination degree between smart transportation and green economy reached 0.58, significantly enhancing the operational efficiency of the regional economy and the level of synergistic green development.
