Abstract:

To scientifically evaluate the adaptability of highway transportation construction to regional economic development, we first analyze the impact mechanism of highway transportation on economic growth, industrial structure, regional competitiveness, and economic connections. Secondly, evaluation indicators for highway transportation are constructed from three aspects: the level of highway transportation construction, the scale of transportation services, and the development of transportation equipment. Regional economic evaluation indicators are constructed from four aspects: economic scale, trade development, investment level, and consumption level. The principal component analysis method is used to measure the comprehensive development level of the two systems, and the adaptability coefficient is defined by the difference, dividing them into three states: lagging, coordinating, and leading. The case analysis shows that the average coefficient of determination of the method proposed in this article is 0.874, and the Kappa coefficient remains stable in the range of 0.78 to 0.88.
