With the rapid development of economy and social, environmental issue has been an important obstacle of human life, especially in urban transportation. Low-carbon development of urban transportation with new energy has been a key way to help us solve this problem. So, it is necessary to construct a new coordination mechanism to play the role of new energy in the urban transportation's low-carbon development. In this new coordination mechanism, the critical step is to evaluate the coordination performance of new energy. Then, in this paper, we firstly construct a new coordination mechanism of new energy in the urban transportation's low-carbon development. Based on this coordination mechanism, the coordination assessment model is development to evaluate the coordination performance of new energy in this low-carbon development with TOPSIS method in intuitionistic fuzzy environment. Finally, a numerical example is illustrated to verify the reliability of this assessment model.
