Abstract
In view of the problem that the results of the current urban and rural road reconstruction modeling method are quite different from the actual situation, this paper proposes a multi-factor-based vehicle capacity modeling method for urban and rural road reconstruction construction areas. This method analyzes the traffic characteristics, traffic organization, driver characteristics and vehicle characteristics of urban and rural road reconstruction construction areas. On the basis of vehicle operation characteristics, the basic capacity and possible capacity of vehicles in construction area are calculated. Based on the calculation results of vehicle capacity in urban and rural road reconstruction construction area, the reduction coefficients of each influencing factor of vehicle capacity in urban and rural road reconstruction construction area are calculated by combining quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis, and the urban and rural roads are established. According to the calculation model of vehicle capacity of reconstruction construction area, the impact of urban and rural road reconstruction construction on vehicle capacity can be realized. The influence of lane closure form, proportion of large vehicles, length of construction area and speed limit of urban vehicles on the traffic capacity of construction area are analyzed by simulation test. The test results are in good agreement with the actual situation, which provides effective guidance for the formulation of traffic organization and management plan during urban and rural road reconstruction construction.
